Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the EOR Canada website. Please read them before relying on any information here.

Last updated: January 2026

About these terms

This website is operated by EOR Canada. By accessing or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These website terms are separate from any service agreement we may enter into with you, which will have its own terms.

Information, not advice

The content on this site describes our services and gives general information about employment, payroll and immigration in Canada. It is not legal, tax or immigration advice, and it should not be relied on as such. Employment standards differ by province, contribution rates and thresholds are indexed annually, and how any rule applies depends on your specific circumstances. You should take professional advice before acting on anything you read here.

No guarantee of accuracy

We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, accurate or up to date at all times. Figures such as minimum wages, contribution rates, ceilings, thresholds, fees and timelines change, in some cases more than once a year.

Use of the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it. You may view and print content for your own business use, but you may not copy, republish or exploit it commercially without our permission.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, layout, graphics and branding, is owned by or licensed to EOR Canada and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The EOR Canada name and logo may not be used without our written consent.

Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information. A link does not imply endorsement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EOR Canada is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province, and any dispute relating to them or to your use of this website is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. Where mandatory provincial legislation applies to you, including Quebec consumer-protection and language legislation, nothing in these terms is intended to displace rights you have under that legislation.

Language

The parties have requested that these terms and any related documents be drawn up in English. Les parties ont demandé que ces conditions et tout document connexe soient rédigés en anglais.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
